In a nutshell, what is an affiliate program?

Basically, you sign up for this program "share-a-sale" or "max-bounty" (links at bottom of page). You browse through the available Merchant programs (businesses who want people to buy product from their site), and select the ones that are best for you or that fit you the best.

Whenever someone clicks on your banner, or your link, they pay you per click, lead, and/or sale... you make money. Most affiliates will pay you monthly and when your account reaches $50.00.  It usually takes $50.00 to generate a check.  If you don't make $50.00 for the month, most affiliate programs will allow that money to be rolled over to the next month.

Share-a-sale has more merchants to choose from, but max-bounty pays you higher per clicks.

These programs hav been very simple for me, and I get paid monthly for doing hardly anything, and not paying a penny for product or advertising.

These are some of the merchants that I use, and you may use also. They are the highest paying per click leads.  Some of them will even give you a higher commission if the consumer makes a purchase. Once you sign up with these affiliate programs, you can use the same merchants as I've used below. These are the biggest money makers for me.

You browse through the different merchants and request their links. Some merchants will want to review your site before they allow you to get links. You have to just look through them and see which one pays the best and which ones you want to put most energy in to. There is NO spamming at all though. So, you can't send out spamming emails or spam message boards. But, if you participate in a message board/forum, then most moderators don't mind if you put a link in your signature. Just read the terms of the message boards before you make people upset.
